Trey displays his ability to seamlessly create music that blurs the line between R&B and Hip-Hop, while still creating songs that evoke emotions and vary in subject matter; songs that appreciate women, songs for the club, songs that chronicle the highs and lows of love and relationships, and of course, songs for the bedroom. Trey Songz signed a record deal with Atlantic Records in 2003 and released his first album, I Gotta Make It, two years later. In 2007, Trey released his second album entitled Trey Day, which made it to number 11 on the Billboard charts. Songz was also nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Male Vocal Performance. For his next album he completely changed his look and styles and produced many hits like "Say Aah" and "Neighbors Know My Name" that allowed the album to reach number 3 on the Billboard album charts.
